Lucia La RoccaKathryn S. Wilson

Kathryn S. Wilson is Co-organizer and Spokesperson for New Day for Children, a residential educational program for American girls, ages 10 to 18, who have suffered from sexual trafficking. She received her B.A. in English and history from Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, and she has pursued graduate studies at the University of Washington, San Jose State University, North Park Theological Seminary and Regent College in Vancouver, Canada.

Having received her K-12 Teaching Credential from the University of Puget Sound, she subsequently taught at various schools over a six-year period. Married with three sons and an avid reader, she has also homeschooled a special-needs child; operated a licensed, home daycare business; worked in two bookstores; and been involved in community development, cross-cultural ministry, and church planting in Alaska and Washington state. She is a member of First Covenant Church in Oakland, CA, where her husband Paul is Lead Pastor.
