1. N.T. Wright on The Colbert Report (Comedy Central):

The renowned Christian scholar and best-selling author, Dr. N.T. ("Tom") Wright (Bishop of Durham), appeared on the top-rated Comedy Central TV program hosted by Stephen Colbert, The Colbert Report, on June 19th. Discussed on the program was Dr. Wright's most recent book:

Dr. Wright is responsible for developing the authoritative, contemporary scholarship on the historical and theological basis for Christianity that in the process has utterly refuted the claims of the "Jesus Seminar" and other skeptics. Here is his web site.

Feraturing a cover article by William Lane Craig, the very timely July issue of Christianity Today is devoted to countering the "new atheist" assault on the existence of God and features a number of notable articles. Generally speaking, the assaults by atheists Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Christopher Hitchens, Daniel Dennett and others reveal two matters: (1) the very poor level of arguments being used by atheists who are unaware of the Christian scholarship on the subject, and (2) that both most Christians and non-Christians are unaware of this scholarship and just how powerful is the case for Christian belief:
